Kunsan Air Base Alarms Monitor Quality Control (QC) Practice Exam

When a negative trend in nuisance alarms appears, the person responsible for digging into it is the Emergency Services Section NCOIC. This role oversees the alarm monitoring program, collects and analyzes nuisance alarm data, and leads the root-cause investigation to determine why alarms are being triggered unnecessarily. They coordinate corrective actions with maintenance, facilities, and the communications team, such as repairing equipment, adjusting system settings, or updating procedures, and then track progress to ensure the trend improves. Base Operations handles overall daily activities and coordination, while the Communications Officer ensures message flow, and the Fire Chief focuses on actual incidents; they aren’t the primary investigators for nuisance alarms.
